New knowledge of medical science indicates that it is possible to “support” the organism to heal more quickly and to shorten recovery after injuries of muscles, tendons and joints in sport. Especially promising results have been achieved by biotherapy of chronic inflammatory conditions not responding to standard therapies.

In addition to standard medical procedures we also apply injection treatment under x-ray control with application to the nerve roots and to joints with difficult access. We use plasma and blood derivates for treatment of inflammations and damaged joint. We apply anti-inflammatory injections and intravenous nutrition. We use most up-to-date braces for individual joints.
Rehabilitation
Physiotherapy using a wide range of ultrasonic treatment options. We most frequently use the soft techniques and manual therapy, mechanical splints for joint mobility improvement and individual exercise with the patients for improvement of mobility and muscle strengthening.

In the case of an injury in sport which needs immediate treatment we are ready to provide emergency treatment to you. We provide immediate therapies for injuries within the scope of the healthcare service provided by our hospital.

Anaesthesia
Our experts use local anaesthesia and regional anaesthesia in the case of minor surgeries. Our standard care includes spinal anaesthesia with epidural analgesic treatment and total inhalation low-inflow anaesthesia using state-of-the-art inhalation gases with minimum side effects.
Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
A specialised facility for care of patients in serious condition and immediately after surgery. Thanks to the excellently equipped ICU and qualified staff we are able to manage even difficult operations including re-implanting of artificial joints. Both the operating theatre and the intensive care unit are provided with uninterrupted power and medical gas supply as well as with instrumentation for continual monitoring of the patient ´s vital signs for prevention of any post-operative complications. The ICU is also equipped with a separate ventilation apparatus, an anaesthesiology device and complete resuscitation kit of the latest generation.
Rehabilitation
We can release our patients from hospital on the third day after surgery. They can walk independently on release thanks to intensive rehabilitation controlled by a special protocol focused on post-operative conditions past artificial joint implantations or injuries. The protocol includes several-day intensive rehabilitation led by trained physiotherapists and assisted by various rehabilitation aids such as mechanical splints and various rehabilitation pulleys. The rehabilitation takes place either on the patient ´s bed or in a specialised gym, or outside on the terrace, weather permitting.
